Publican Quality Meats
Publican Quality Meats is a Chicago staple I’ve visited a few times, but this was my first time actually sitting down for lunch. I ordered the Turkey Bacon Ranch Sandwich on sesame sourdough, made with avocado, bibb lettuce, marinated Roma tomato, and ranch. Every bite tasted fresh and perfectly balanced—the savory turkey and bacon paired beautifully with the creamy avocado, crisp lettuce, and tangy ranch. Pizz’Amici
Pizz’Amici has quickly become one of the most sought-after reservations in Chicago, with limited seating and high demand making it one of the toughest tables to secure. When a 10pm reservation opened up, I grabbed it immediately, and it absolutely delivered on the hype. From standout cocktails to ultra-crispy pizzas, this Chicago pizza spot offers a full dining experience that lives up to its buzz. One of the highlights of the night were the cocktails. I ordered the Margarita

Petite Edith
Petite Edith is one of the newest additions to Chicago’s River North dining scene, created by the team behind Esmé. Known for its elevated French-inspired cuisine and polished atmosphere, the restaurant has quickly become a standout for a refined night out in the city. To start the evening, I ordered the Conicule, made with mezcal, Salers, and citrus. The drink balanced smoky, bitter, and citrus notes. An unexpected bonus dish turned into one of the highlights of the night. F

Frasca Pizzeria + Wine Bar
Frasca Pizzeria + Wine Bar offers a standout prix fixe brunch in Chicago, combining Italian-inspired dishes with a lively dining experience. Known for its pizzas, house-made pastas, and weekend brunch menu, Frasca delivers a well-rounded mix of sweet and savory options. I visited for a prix fixe brunch and was impressed by both the variety and execution of each dish. The brunch includes bottomless cocktails, and I opted for Aperol Spritzes throughout the meal. Light, citrusy,

Creepies
If you’re looking for one of Chicago’s most talked-about new restaurants, Creepies is a must-visit. With Michelin Guide predictions already creating buzz, I made a reservation early to enjoy the innovative French-inspired menu before the crowds arrived. We started the meal with the warm brie gougères, which were perfectly baked dough bites filled with melted cheese — a simple but satisfying starter. For appetizers, we tried the Roasted Carrots, Tarte Flambé, and Steamed Musse

Postcard
I love trying new cafés opening in the city, and next on my list was Postcard in Fulton Market, one of Chicago’s newer coffee spots. I ordered a classic vanilla latte, which was smooth and perfectly sweet — exactly how I like it. For something savory, I tried the Mortadella Toastie made with whipped ricotta, arugula, and parmigiano. The toastie was surprisingly packed with flavor, creamy yet crisp, and easily one of my favorite bites of the morning. We also sampled several of

Mama's Too
No trip to New York City is complete without trying classic New York-style pizza, and Mama’s Too was next on my list. Known for its flavorful slices and thin, crispy crust, this pizzeria is a must-visit for pizza lovers in NYC. I decided to try the Vodka Sauce Pizza and the Cacio e Pepe slice. Both looked as incredible as they tasted. The vodka sauce pizza had the perfect crunchy crust, creamy tomato sauce, and a rich, cheesy finish, while the cacio e pepe slice was savory, p
