Volo Wine Bar
Volo Wine Bar has been on my Chicago restaurant list for a while because I had heard about its great happy hour deals, so I finally had to give it a try myself. With $7 spritzes, $1 oysters, wine on tap, and discounted flatbreads, Volo is a great option for an affordable happy hour in Chicago.
Starting with the $7 Spritzes, these were refreshing and the perfect way to kick off the evening. I loved having a lighter cocktail to sip on while enjoying the other happy hour specials.

We also had to take advantage of the $1 Oysters served with cocktail sauce, which was such a great deal. Along with the oysters, we tried the $6 White Wine on tap. It was a little sweeter than I typically prefer, but it was still a fun option to have alongside the food.

Lastly, we took advantage of the $3 off flatbreads and ordered the B.M.G. with bacon, goat cheese, and wild mushrooms. This was a nice, crunchy bite to enjoy with our drinks and a good addition to the table.

Overall, I thought Volo Wine Bar was a great option for a Chicago happy hour, especially if you’re looking for affordable drinks and oysters. Personally, I wasn’t super impressed with the food, but I did love the $7 spritzes and $1 oyster deal.
