One of my favorite things to do in the city is explore new happy hour deals in Chicago, and Parlor Pizza Bar consistently hits the mark. Whether you're meeting up with friends or enjoying a casual post-work drink, Parlor Pizza offers great vibes, an inviting patio, and some seriously flavorful menu items.
We kicked things off with $7 glasses of sauvignon blanc—light, crisp, and refreshing. It’s the perfect way to unwind, especially when paired with a warm summer evening on Parlor’s lively patio.

While waiting for the rest of the group to arrive, we ordered the house-made hummus, and it honestly exceeded expectations. Smooth, light, and perfectly seasoned, it was a great way to balance out the richness of the pizzas we were about to devour.

The main event was, of course, Parlor Pizza’s unique pizza menu. We tried two signature pies:
Honey Boo Boo: caramelized onions, roasted garlic, mozzarella, taleggio, rosemary, and honey. The sweet and savory combo here is next level, and the caramelized onions added the perfect richness.
Cheesus, Mary, and Joseph: whipped ricotta, white cheddar, parmesan, mozzarella, garlic, and oregano. A cheese-lover’s dream with a beautifully balanced garlic note.
Each bite was packed with bold, layered flavor, and the crust was that perfect combo of crispy and chewy.

Parlor Pizza’s happy hour is an ideal spot for laid-back drinks and creative eats. With $7 wines, 2-for-1 pizza specials, and a spacious patio to enjoy it all, this is a gem that’s worth a visit—especially if you're a pizza lover looking for something beyond the usual.
