Urbanbelly
Urbanbelly has opened a new location in Fulton Market with a beautiful patio, making it a great spot for a summer evening dinner in Chicago. With its Asian-inspired menu, creative cocktails, and variety of shareable dishes, Urbanbelly Fulton Market is a fun addition to the neighborhood.
Starting with cocktails, we ordered the Prickly Business made with tequila, prickly pear, jalapeños, agave, Cointreau, and lime. This had the perfect balance of sweet and spicy, which I really enjoyed. The prickly pear added a refreshing sweetness while the jalapeño gave it just enough heat.

For our starters, we went with the Hot Chicken Bao Buns, Korean BBQ Beef Dumpling, and Korean Pork Mandu. All three were incredible bites and each had its own unique flavor. I loved the fresh slaw in the bao buns, the crispy texture of the BBQ beef dumpling, and the spice from the mandu. Together, they made the perfect mix of flavors and textures for the table.

For our main dishes, we ordered the Fried Rice with Lemongrass Chicken and the Udon Noodles. Both were delicious, but the table favorite was definitely the fried rice. I especially loved the buttery flavor of the rice, which made the dish so flavorful and satisfying.

Lastly, our waiter recommended the newest dessert on the menu: Mochi Churros served with chocolate sauce. These were the perfect light bite to round out the meal, with a crispy exterior and chewy mochi texture that paired perfectly with the chocolate sauce.

Overall, Urbanbelly Fulton Market was a delicious spot to try flavorful Asian-inspired dishes in Chicago. I loved everything we ordered, and the patio makes it an especially great option for a summer dinner.
