During my New York City food tour, I stopped at Osteria Delbianco, a classic Italian restaurant located in Midtown Manhattan. Known for its traditional Italian cuisine, this spot is perfect for anyone craving authentic Italian dishes in NYC.
To start, we ordered the Polpette della Nonna, veal and mortadella meatballs served with rich tomato sauce and freshly grated parmigiano. These meatballs were a comforting and flavorful way to begin the meal.

For my main course, I went with the Truffle Gnocchi, made with potato gnocchi, veal ragu, ricotta, and shaved black truffle. This dish was rich, indulgent, and full of flavor — a true treat for lovers of hearty Italian cuisine.

We couldn’t resist dessert and chose the brownie with ice cream, a dish that perfectly balanced the richness of the dinner.

Overall, Osteria Delbianco in Midtown NYC delivers a traditional Italian experience with classic flavors. While there weren’t standout dishes, it’s a reliable choice for anyone looking for a classic Italian dinner in New York City.
