Lately, I’ve been on a mission to explore more of the best pizza spots in Chicago, and Professor Pizza was next on my list. Known for its variety of styles, this casual yet creative pizza joint offers something for every kind of pizza lover—from Cracker and New York Style to Grandma, Sicilian, and Detroit-style pizza.
While every style sounded tempting, we opted for two of their most talked-about: the Cracker and the Grandma-style pizza. I was especially excited to try the hot honey and ricotta pizza—and it absolutely delivered. The Cracker crust was thin, crisp, and perfectly golden, creating the ideal base for the sweet and spicy combination of hot honey and creamy ricotta.

We also ordered the Vodka Sauce Grandma-style pizza, which was a standout in its own right. The thick, soft crust paired with the rich vodka sauce gave a completely different, more comforting vibe compared to the crispiness of the cracker crust. It added a nice variety to the meal and showed off the versatility of Professor Pizza's menu.

Whether you're a deep-dish loyalist or looking to explore the wide world of pizza styles, Professor Pizza in Chicago is absolutely worth a visit. I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu, especially the Detroit and Sicilian styles next time.
