If you’re visiting Newport, Rhode Island, a stop at The Lobster Bar is a must for fresh seafood and beautiful harbor views. This restaurant offers a wide variety of seafood dishes, perfect for anyone looking to indulge in classic New England flavors.
We started with the Seafood Tower, which included ahi tuna, lobster, shrimp, and oysters. This tower was impressive, with a generous selection for the table to share. The ahi tuna was fresh and flavorful, and a whole lobster is always a treat!

I also tried the Clam Chowder, as I had never had it before. While it was good, it wasn’t particularly memorable compared to the other standout dishes.

Of course, I had to try the Lobster Roll, served with lemon, dill, and light mayo on a brioche roll. This lobster roll was rich and flavorful, a bit heavier than the one I had at The Lawn Terrace, but delicious nonetheless.

Other guests at the table ordered the Lobster Flight, which featured three lobster sliders: traditional, naked, and fried. This was a fun way to experience different lobster preparations in one dish.

The Lobster Bar Newport is an excellent spot for fresh seafood lovers. With waterfront views, generous portions, and a variety of lobster-centric dishes, it’s an ideal choice for both casual dining and special occasions in Newport.
