Perilla Steakhouse, known for its modern twist on classic dishes in Chicago, isn’t just about steak—it also serves standout breakfast items. As part of my quest to try the best breakfast sandwiches in Chicago, I couldn’t resist trying the Perilla Breakfast Sandwich.
This hearty sandwich is served on an English muffin and filled with bacon, hash browns, cheese, egg, and pepper aioli. The pepper aioli adds a subtle kick, balancing the savory flavors of bacon and melted cheese. While the sandwich stayed classic in terms of ingredients, it was perfectly executed and satisfying—a solid addition to any breakfast sandwich list.

To complement the savory flavors, I also tried the Korean Milk Donut topped with blueberries. Light, airy, and slightly sweet, it was the perfect treat to balance the sandwich and round out the meal.

Overall, Perilla Steahouse is a great stop for breakfast in Chicago. While the breakfast sandwich was more classic than adventurous, it delivered on flavor, and the Korean Milk Donut added a delightful twist.
