King of Cups is a standout cocktail bar in Lincoln Park, Chicago, that I’ve visited several times, and it never disappoints. For those who appreciate a well-curated menu featuring tequila and mezcal cocktails, this bar offers an impressive selection that’s perfect for both casual sips and adventurous flavors.

Our visit started with the classic Espresso Martini, one of my favorite drinks at King of Cups. The cocktail perfectly balances the rich bitterness of espresso with just the right amount of sweetness, creating a smooth, energizing drink that’s ideal any time of night.

Next, I tried the Paw Paw Prince, a mezcal cocktail featuring mezcal, soursop liqueur, ancho reyes, strawberry, prickly pear, and habanero shrub. This cocktail balances savory, sweet, and spicy notes, making it a standout choice for mezcal fans.

We also enjoyed the Tequila Highball, which combines tequila, strawberry basil syrup, habanero, and lime, offering a refreshing yet spicy twist on the classic highball cocktail.

Whether you’re looking for a pre-dinner cocktail or an after-dinner nightcap, King of Cups in Lincoln Park delivers consistently. Their expertly crafted cocktails, especially their tequila and mezcal offerings, make it a must-visit destination for cocktail enthusiasts in Chicago.
