The final stop on our Chinatown food tour was the renowned MCCB, a restaurant that requires putting your name in well in advance. While waiting for our table, we explored the neighborhood and anticipated the flavorful meal ahead. MCCB turned out to be one of my favorite spots of the day thanks to its outstanding dishes bursting with delicious and authentic flavors.

We ordered the Traditional Fried Rice, Orange Chicken Plate, and the Signature Dry Chili Chicken. The fried rice was perfectly moist and packed with savory goodness, while the orange chicken quickly became one of my favorite dishes in Chicago — crispy, tangy, and with the ideal balance of sweet and savory. Although I had to skip the dry chili chicken due to the spice, the dish was highly praised by others at the table.

Even though we weren’t overly hungry after a full day of eating, I couldn’t get enough of the fried rice and orange chicken. MCCB offered a fantastic last meal on our Chinatown tour, and I’m already looking forward to returning to savor more of their flavorful Chinese cuisine.

MCCB: 2138 S Archer Ave, Chicago, IL

Hi, thanks for stopping by!

Not that this isn't obvious, but I am not a professional writer - I don't claim to be one either. Cut me some slack on my writing for a little bit. It will get better!
