There’s something special about discovering a new neighborhood coffee and bagel spot in Chicago—and The Bagelers Coffeehouse definitely impressed. I kicked off my morning with their Brown Sugar Cinnamon Latte, and it was exactly what I was hoping for—smooth and sweet.

For my bagel sandwich, I tried the Hashy B, and this one hits every flavor note. It’s made with bacon, egg, cheese, crispy hash browns, chipotle mayo, hot honey, and served on a jalapeño cheddar bagel.

The balance of savory, creamy, crispy, and spicy flavors was next level. The hot honey added just the right kick, and the jalapeño cheddar bagel gave it an extra flavor boost. I also ordered a side of garlic and chive cream cheese, which was rich and herby—highly recommend as an extra dip or spread.
