Nolia is one of my favorite places to eat in Cincinnati which is why I had to take my parents there when they came to visit.

I started with trying a new cocktail — the Sumer in St. Bernard with tequila, lemon, pepper, prickly pear orange, and peach bitters soda. I did ask the waiter to make it extra spicy, and it was delicious.

The cornbread at Nolia is the best I have ever had, so we had to make an order. My dad and I also split some oysters which were great too.

For our main meal, I wanted to taste a few of the items on the menu:

- Andouille Crusted Red Fish with squash, creole mustard, and lima beans

- Half Chicken with root vegetables and jus

- Beef Grillades which was beef chuck with grits, peppers, and onions

All of these were delicious and had so much great flavor. Each of the dishes had different flavors and they all went perfectly together for the meal.

I did not want to get dessert until the waiter said they had pecan pie, so we ordered that and the bread pudding.

Nolia is such a great spot to take anyone. I love the atmosphere and the food always has incredible flavor, so you can’t go wrong with anything.
