Mister Tiger

Craving Korean food led me to Mister Tiger, a newer restaurant in Chicago offering a bold, flavorful take on Korean classics. From the moment we looked at the menu, I knew we were in for a treat—the variety of small plates and authentic dishes made this spot feel like a must-visit for Korean food lovers.

We kicked things off with three standout starters: fried dumplings, Korean meatballs, and chive pancakes. Each dish brought something different to the table. The dumplings were crispy and fresh, the chive pancakes were savory, and the Korean meatballs—my personal favorite—were packed with flavor.

For our entrée, we took our server’s suggestion and ordered the Braised Short Rib, served with vegetables and white rice. While the short rib was tender and satisfying, I found myself thinking I’d love to come back and try more small plates next time—the appetizers really stood out as the stars of the meal.

Mister Tiger is a great option for a casual yet flavorful dinner in Chicago. Whether you're craving crispy dumplings or bold Korean meatballs, this spot has something for every palate—and I can’t wait to go back to try more.
