Maplewood Kitchen & Bar is the perfect spot for any time of the day whether you want a coffee with breakfast or a cocktail with dinner. I went to Maplewood twice in one weekend, which is a rarity for me, but also a good sign that it is a yummy place.

The first time I went was for a late breakfast, and I ordered the Brussels Sprout Benedict with brussels sprout, butternut squash, poached eggs, everything bagel seasoning, kale pesto, and hash brown. This was fantastic, and all of the flavors in the dish worked well together and tasted amazing.

I also ordered a vanilla latte for breakfast and it was delicious — maybe one of my favorites in Cincinnati. I loved how subtle the coffee flavor was and the foam at the top enhanced the coffee well.

The next time I went to Maplewood was more towards breakfast time, but there were so many people there I had to wait in line for a long time — it did not bother me though.
I started with ordering a hot chocolate which is a close call to being my favorite in Cincinnati. Right now, Taste of Belgium has the title, but Maplewood is a close second.

For breakfast, I ordered the Everything Toast with avocado, whipped cream cheese, and everything bagel seasoning. I had never tried putting cream cheese on avocado toast. It was surprisingly great.

I also had to order a side of the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes which were also shockingly delicious. I am not the biggest fan of lemon-flavored items, but it was the perfect, sweet flavor to offset the avocado toast.

Maplewood has the best cafè drinks and the food was unique and delicious as well. I loved all of the different flavors that I tasted, and I think it is a great place for breakfast or lunch. Maplewood also has lunch/dinner food and cocktails as well that I would love to go back and try.
