When I was tasked with finding the perfect brunch spot in New York City to host my sister’s surprise bridal shower, Little Hen immediately stood out. The moment I walked in, I knew it was the right choice. The restaurant’s beautiful, colorful interior, paired with elegant and uniquely patterned dishware, created the best atmosphere for a special celebration.

To start, we ordered lattes, which were served exactly how I like them — rich, smooth, and beautifully presented.

As for the food, the menu is filled with standout dishes, but the Carbonara Omelette immediately caught my eye. Made with ham, roasted red peppers, pepper jack cheese, crispy bacon, and a creamy drizzle on top, this dish was an elevated and creative twist on classic carbonara. Every bite was flavorful — truly one of the best brunch plates I’ve had recently.

We also tried the Rose Petal Pancakes, one of Little Hen’s most visually iconic items. The presentation was stunning, with delicate rose petals and vibrant color. The flavor was very strong and floral, which might not be for everyone, but it definitely made for a unique dish.

Overall, Little Hen exceeded all my expectations. From the delicious food and beautiful drinks to the warm, picture-perfect atmosphere, it was the ideal location for a bridal shower brunch.
