During a recent trip to Arizona, my family and I had the pleasure of dining at Francine, an upscale French Mediterranean restaurant located in Scottsdale. Recommended by my sister-in-law, this elegant spot instantly impressed with its luxurious ambiance, impeccable service, and a diverse menu featuring standout seafood, pasta, and appetizers.
We kicked off the meal with a daily special: Goat Cheese Spread with Homemade Pita Bread—creamy, rich, and perfectly paired with the warm, fluffy pita. Alongside that, we enjoyed bread for the table and a serving of crispy Calamari, which offered a perfect balance of crunch and seasoning.

For my entrée, I chose the Mushroom Rigatoni, a deliciously crafted pasta dish made with truffle, olive oil, and shaved Parmesan. The flavors were bold yet balanced, and the dish was surprisingly light for something so rich.

Other highlights at the table included the tableside Branzino, a presentation with fresh, flaky fish, as well as the prawns and the lobster pasta—both incredible and full of flavor. Francine’s seafood options are not only well-executed but also beautifully plated, making it ideal for both date nights and special occasions.
Although not pictured, dessert was a major highlight of the evening. We shared a variety of options, including Profiteroles (my personal favorite), chocolate mousse, and apple tart. Each one was light, flavorful, and a perfect finish to an indulgent meal.
Francine is a must-visit for anyone seeking elevated French Mediterranean cuisine in Scottsdale, Arizona. From the refined atmosphere to the flavor-packed dishes, every detail of the meal stood out. Whether you're visiting with family or planning a night out, Francine delivers on all fronts—especially if you're a fan of truffle pasta, fresh seafood, and elegant desserts.
