French Crust is a breakfast spot that immediately catches your eye when you walk by. It is set up as a cute boutique restaurant on the outside and the food and pastries are delicious.

I have been — and tried to go — to French Crust a few times, but it is always incredibly crowded. I decided to take my mom there for a coffee when she came to visit me and it was the perfect stop before our day at Findlay Market.
My mom and I decided to eat the Sticky Buns and I ordered a super good vanilla latte.

Recently, I went back to French Crust because there was something on the menu that I just had to try — the Puff Pastry with Local Goetta.
This was just as delicious as it sounds. It was a puff pastry with goetta, peppers, and a poached egg sandwiched in between. All of the flavors were fantastic and it was the perfect brunch.

I also ordered a caramel latte which was the perfect mix of caramel and coffee — both coffees I have gotten here were great.

French Crust is a great breakfast spot that has tons of different options. One thing that stinks is that they run out of their pastries fast on the weekends, so it’s hard to come by those, but other than that I have enjoyed all of the food I have tried there.
