Em's Bread Café

Em’s Bread Café was one of the biggest surprises to me when I tried it. I’m not a huge sandwich person usually, but since Grace was getting something there I figured that I would try too.

Grace ordered the grilled cheese and added avocado and tomato and her sandwich looked and, according to her, tasted delicious.

I decided to order the Big and Bold BLT with pesto aioli which was phenomenal. The bacon had a sweet and spicy glaze on it which was delicious and the pesto aioli was amazing. Also, you can’t go wrong with anything on sourdough bread, so that was a plus as well.

I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed the BLT, but I think the added flavors helped tremendously. With the sweet and spicy bacon and the pesto sauce, it was the perfect lunch. This is definitely a must-taste when you are around the Finlay Market area.
