Cherbourg Cyprus is a very minimalistic bakery that I have tried a few times now. They have a smaller selection of treats to try, but all of the ones they do have are delicious.
One problem with this bakery is that I do not know how to recommend it to people because I can’t pronounce the name. Anyway, the different times that I tried Cherbourg Cyprus I have been pleased with the different types of sweets they have.
The first time Grace and I both tried this smores/brownie type treat and it was pretty good. The texture was very chewy from the marshmallow and it made you feel like you were eating toasted smores.
Grace and I wanted to go back to the bakery after a morning of strolling through Finlay Market and the treats we tasted were delicious. We got the cheesecake brownie which was vanilla cheesecake with what tasted like double chocolate brownie.
It was super gooey on the inside and the vanilla and chocolate balanced each other out so it wasn't too rich.
We also ordered the chocolate donut which was a cinnamon sugar donut with chocolate ganache on the top.
Cherbourg Cyprus is the perfect stop by bakery if you are craving some sweets. Of the times I have gone, they don’t have a huge amount of variation of foods, but I have liked what I have tried whenever I have gone.
