Cafe Deko is a stylish and cozy café known for its delicious coffee, crafted sandwiches, and eye-catching decor. This River North gem had been on my list of Chicago coffee shops to try, and I finally had the chance to stop by for a weekend lunch.

To start, I ordered their seasonal lavender latte, which turned out to be the perfect blend of smooth espresso and floral sweetness.

For my meal, I went with the Sweet Chili Turkey Sandwich. Served warm on fresh ciabatta bread, it comes with mozzarella cheese, house-made sweet chili cream cheese, lettuce, and honey mustard. The flavors were incredibly well-balanced, with the sweet chili adding a fun twist to a classic turkey sandwich. It was filling yet light—ideal for a casual Sunday lunch.

Cafe Deko delivered exactly what I was hoping for: a laid-back cafe vibe, flavorful coffee, and fresh food. Whether you're looking for a new coffee shop or just a quick bite, Cafe Deko is a top pick for coffee lovers and foodies alike.
