Brunch – one of the best words to hear when you wake up in the morning. Luckily, Taste of Belgium is on the same street as my apartment, so it’s the perfect cure to the Sunday or even Saturday scaries.
For some pre-move-in day fuel, my roommate Grace and I walked to Taste of Belgium and had such a delicious breakfast. I had the ricotta and tomato omelet with a side of goetta and Grace got the ricotta Belgium waffle. Both of these tasted just as amazing as they looked.

When my parents and Jack came to visit for a family wedding, I thought it would be a good idea to take them for brunch at Taste of Belgium because the menu is so diverse. We all ordered different items, and this time I got the goetta hash, which was the best thing I’ve ordered from there.
The goetta hash has peppers, onions, french fries, and goetta all topped with a fried egg – so yummy.

Now, the next time I went to Taste of Belgium was because Grace and I needed a revival from our Friday night out. It was amazing to just be able to walk out of our apartment and sit outside for a delicious breakfast. This time, I got the Nutella and banana Belgium waffle with a side of goetta. I also got a hot chocolate and it came in a mug which is my favorite.
I must say – it was the best hot chocolate I have had in Cincy.

Taste of Belgium is such an easy spot to pick for breakfast on any day of the week. There are a few of them in Cincinnati, so you really can find one anywhere here. I love this place because there so many different things on the menu for whatever mood you are in.
