If you’re looking for a cozy bar to grab a pre-dinner drink in Logan Square, Spilt Milk should be on your radar. With its relaxed vibe, wide variety of drinks, and inventive cocktails, this bar is an ideal spot for starting a night out in Chicago.

While waiting for a dinner reservation nearby, we stopped into Spilt Milk and I ordered the Madras Margarita. This cocktail was made with Spicemode-infused tequila, mezcal, tamarind, and lime—a smoky and spicy twist on a classic margarita.

Next, we tried the Erykah Baijiu, made with Ming River baijiu, pisco, honey ginger syrup, lemongrass, Calpico, lime, and soda. The baijiu and pisco combo, paired with the citrus and floral elements, created an intriguing mix of flavors that worked beautifully together.

Spilt Milk Tavern was the perfect pre-dinner cocktail spot in Logan Square. The drink menu offers a thoughtful balance of spirit-forward, citrusy, and creative options. I loved the atmosphere—casual but energetic, with a lively crowd. Whether you're a local or exploring the area, it’s a great place to sip something new before heading to dinner.
