I was extremely lucky with the weather this weekend while my mom visited because that meant that we could be outside and walk around all day. This was the perfect weekend to show her around Finlay Market to try all of the tasty vendors.
My mom requested a cappuccino to begin our morning, so we stopped into French Crust Café to get a coffee and sweet treat. My mom ordered her cappuccino and I ordered a vanilla latte. I must say, this latte was absolutely delicious and was the perfect flavor of vanilla; my mom loved her drink as well. We also ordered the sticky buns which had the most amazing glaze on them.

While walking around Finlay Market and through the different vendors and shops my mom had a craving for some fried rice, so we stopped at Chino’s Street Food for some. We ordered the fried rice and Vietnamese Street Tacos.
For some reason, they gave us the chicken fried rice, but we were both happy because it was such delicious food. The chicken had some sort of sweet and sour sauce and it was absolutely amazing. My favorite was the tacos because they had the yummy chicken and a tasteful cilantro-lime sauce.
Although we were completely full, I had to grab a salted chocolate chip cookie from Mavericks for my mom to try. We bought one and saved it for later.

Once it got to be later in the day, my mom and I wanted to go to a pop-up shop that was in Hotel Covington. We ended up stopping into Coppin’s Restaurant to grab a drink and to sit outside in the nice weather. I ordered an Aperol Spritz, which was great, and we sat out in the courtyard for a while.

All of these places were amazing to go to on a beautiful Saturday, and I was happy to be able to show my mom around a lot of the area. Finlay Market had amazing vendors outside and the food was great.
