Little Goat Diner

For my weekend send-off meal, we decided to eat at Little Goat Diner — one of Lucy and Jacob’s favorites.

To start the meal, I ordered a Golden Goat Flat white which had oak milk, honey, turmeric, and espresso. I had never tasted a turmeric latte with coffee in it, and it was delicious. I loved how creamy the oak milk made it and the espresso and turmeric flavors worked tastefully together.

We ordered a cinnamon bun to split at the table and it was creamy and fantastic. It was perfect to split because it was huge, and the inside was super gooey.

For my meal, I ordered the This Little Piggy Went to China — holy cow this might be one of my favorite breakfasts that I have had. The dish had a cheddar biscuit, sunny side eggs, Sichuan pork sausage, chili garlic chive sauce, and gooseberries.

All of these flavors worked immaculately together and the chili garlic sauce was simply amazing.

Little Goat Diner was probably my favorite meal I had on my Chicago trip. All of the items we ordered were phenomenal and I crave them constantly. The latte was unique but delicious, and the dish I ordered had the best flavors all together.
