One of my first stops after arriving in Austin was Elk Dog Coffee, a café I had heard so many great things about. I ordered the Salt Elk Dog Latte, a specialty drink made with caramel and sea salt, and it quickly became one of my favorite coffees of the trip.

The sweetness of the caramel paired perfectly with the subtle saltiness, creating a smooth, well-balanced latte that i’ll definitely be thinking about it until my next visit to Austin.
