Carabello Coffee is a café that is always crowded no matter what time of the day and it has a very unique atmosphere.

The first time I went to Carabello’s, my roommate and I walked from our apartment in the rain, which was not the best idea, but we were pleasantly surprised with how much we loved the coffee shop.
Because we walked in the rain, we were both super cold, so we ordered a hot chocolate and the salted caramel cookie at the counter and picked a random seat that was open. Little did we know we would have a “letters to Juliet” moment at our seats.
We sat in a nook by a brick wall and inside the cracks of the wall were motivational notes that people have written and left in there. We spent such a long time going through and reading the notes that people had put inside the wall, and it was such a nice surprise to read all of the different notes.

We sat there and enjoyed our cookies and hot chocolate while we read through almost every note, and I knew this would become one of my favorite little cafés to go to.

I had been wanting to go back to Carabello’s for a while, but they are closed on Sundays, so this past Saturday I went to spend a few hours while reading my book. Unfortunately, I didn't get to sit in the letters to Juliet nook, but the café is huge so I found a different spot.
One of my favorite things about Carabello’s is that it’s always crowded, and there is almost a different “theme” to each room. I sat in the back of the café this last time and the music was bopping and it was nice to just be in everyone’s presence there.
I went a little out of character and ordered a vanilla latte with oat milk and caramel, and it was good but still tasted too much like coffee to me. It came in a mug though, which was a big bonus.

Carabello’s Coffee is the best place for when you want to be surrounded by background noise. As I said, it’s always pretty busy, so there’s a bustle around you which is nice for when you’re in that mood. I love the different vibes of Carabello’s and it’s just a nice coffee shop staple to go to.
