Buttercup

It’s not often that I make my way to South Loop, but when I saw Buttercup Cafe’s new collaboration with Egg Bunni breakfast sandwiches, I knew I had to visit. From the moment I stepped inside, the decor and upbeat music set the tone for a lively, welcoming morning atmosphere.

I began with the Maple Sea Salt Latte, a creative twist on a classic vanilla latte, with maple, ginger, sea salt, and vanilla.

Though the Egg Bunni sandwich brought me in, the warm cinnamon roll immediately caught my eye. Served fresh and gooey, it was the ideal sweet complement to the savory bites of the morning.

For the main event, I ordered the Egg Bunni Bacon, Egg, and Cheese on a brioche bun with garlic aioli. This breakfast sandwich was classic but elevated, with perfectly cooked eggs, crispy bacon, and flavorful aioli.

Spending the morning at Buttercup Cafe was a full experience. From the delicious breakfast sandwich and cinnamon roll to the unique latte and lively vibes, this cafe offers a perfect start to any day.
