Ever since Olive and Oak Cafe opened its doors, it has been on my list of Chicago coffee shops to try. Known for creative lattes and elevated breakfast options, this lively cafe delivers the perfect combination of flavorful menu items and a welcoming morning atmosphere.
I started with a strawberry donut that was perfectly glazed and packed with fresh strawberry flavor.
For my drink, I ordered the Biscoff Latte — an indulgent twist on the classic latte. Smooth espresso combined with creamy milk and rich Biscoff flavor made this drink flavorful.
Of course, no visit to a Chicago breakfast cafe feels complete without trying a breakfast sandwich. Olive and Oak’s version, made with eggs, bacon, and cheese, keeps things simple yet delicious. The combination of warm, fluffy eggs, crispy bacon, and melty cheese creates a satisfying and classic breakfast option that pairs perfectly with their specialty lattes.
From creative coffee drinks to fresh breakfast options and a vibrant, energetic crowd enjoying their mornings, it’s easy to see why this spot is quickly becoming a favorite for breakfast in Chicago. I’m already looking forward to going back to explore more of their menu.
