Hero Coffee and Bagel Bar

One of my favorite weekend activities is exploring Chicago in search of new breakfast spots, and Hero Coffee and Bagel Bar was next up on my list. While I was in line waiting to order, one of the matcha drinks caught my eye - Matcha Madness which is an Iced Matcha Lemonade with Raspberry. This refreshing drink was a tasteful surprise, with the lemon and raspberry flavors perfectly complementing the matcha.

For my bagel order, I opted for the Smooth Criminal sandwich featuring goat cheese, egg, bacon, fig jam, sliced Monterey jack cheese, basil, and sriracha on a jalapeno cheddar bagel. The combination of flavors, from the sweet fig jam to the savory bacon, was absolutely incredible.

Hero Coffee and Bagel Bar proved to be a fantastic breakfast spot during my morning walk. The diverse bagel sandwich options were impressive, and the Smooth Criminal was a standout choice. Hero has also reignited my matcha fixation because I loved how refreshing the drink was and the flavors were incredible.
