Urbana Café

Urbana Café is one of the best vibes of a vintage-modern-day coffee shop. With the little blue accents all around the shop and a record player streaming music in the background, the café gives off the best energy.

I’ve been to Urbana Café in Over the Rhine two times now, and it has one of the coolest atmospheres of a coffee shop. It is always busy with people of all sorts, which makes it entertaining to people watch and do my own thing at the same time.

On my first trip into the café, I got the flavored hot chocolate which had a unique taste to it, an almost orange-like. It wasn't my favorite, but it was still flavorsome. As it is known by now, I am biased to coffee shops that give me a mug instead of a to-go cup, but I have to say I loved the cup that my hot chocolate came in – the Urbana Café’s logo is an old-time pick-up truck which is incredibly cute.

The second time I went to the café was my favorite. I got a normal flavored hot chocolate and it came in a mug – and a huge mug at that. I sipped on the delicious, foamy hot chocolate that lasted a long time while finishing my current book.

This is one of the coffee shops in Cincinnati that I have loved the energy and people who congregate around the area. The constant buzz of people and background noise in the café is soothing to me.

I was able to people watch, listen to incredible music, read my book, and write all while sitting and drinking from my giant mug – it was the perfect little Saturday for me.
