I stumbled upon the Iris Book Café while walking through Over the Rhine a few weeks ago. Iris is such an underrated but intriguing place that I hadn’t heard of before I saw it.

With vintage books and vinyl records all around the café, it almost felt like you were sitting inside a library – which I loved.

The first time I went to Iris, I ordered a hot chocolate – that came in a mug – and a bagel with cream cheese as well. The hot chocolate was not the best, but I loved the bagel and the vibes there, so that made up for it.

I decided to try Iris Café again when I was walking around the area to have a cup of coffee while I read my book. The older, vintage décor of the café is amazing, and I decided to try coffee to see how it is there.

The latte I ordered – vanilla and caramel latte – was delicious and had the perfect about of flavors in it. I loved that it didn't taste too coffee-like, so it was just what I needed.

Iris Book Café is a quaint coffee shop that has a chill vibe to it. I’ve loved being able to be surrounded by all of the books and listen to the music and conversations near me.

Hi, thanks for stopping by!

Not that this isn't obvious, but I am not a professional writer - I don't claim to be one either. Cut me some slack on my writing for a little bit. It will get better!
